children's projects

Partnership with World Vision:

Throughout the year, our tithes went towards various projects identified by World Vision to assist the community of Limpopo, Zimbabwe, Africa.  In just two weeks our children raised over $150 and that money went towards buying goats for a few families.  A goat can change a family's life and we are dedicated to giving sacrificially and consistently in our children's arena to allow God to help as many families as possible.


Partnership with AMOR:

Our church family has traveled to Rocky Point, Mexico numerous times to help build homes for families in need; many of our children have participated in these trips and our tithes have also gone to buy supplies for the trip. This year we are excited about a family mission trip to the Apache Indian Reservation through AMOR to help build homes there as well.


Partnership with Angel Tree:

At Christmastime each of our children's classes sponsored a child in need through Angel Tree. They raised money, bought gifts and had a wrapping party to get the gifts ready to be donated. This year we will continue our involvement in the Angel Tree project.


In town partnerships:

Our children are also heavily involved in local projects, such as Make a Difference Day and Serve Vail. They have also donated food to hungry families in need during Thanksgiving time and bought gifts for the moms in our congregation and teachers in our community.
