The journey from being someone who is far from God to someone who is following Jesus is challenging, exciting and filled with adventure. This journey is called discipleship. No matter where you are on your journey, you can find encouragement, hope, and strength here at Vail Christian Church. How we disciple people is a simple process that requires relationship and honesty. We strive to see these four tennents in our disciples:

Worship
Offer yourself to God as a living sacrifice so that he can showcase His worth and value in your life. We seek to be a community that worships God with everything we say and do.

Gather
Through the power and authority of Christ, people are gathered to the Kingdom by Christ-followers who teach the Word of God, humbly obey the commands of Jesus, and value Christ above everything.

Give
Christ's rulership in our lives is such a valuable treasure that, if we lose everything in order to acquire Him, it's a joyful sacrifice.

Serve
True service is not merely the performance of righteous actions, or a means by which love from God is earned, rather service is an awakening to what a relationship of love with God really is.

What is The Compass?

The Compass is a comprehensive evaluation tool designed to help you discover where you are in your journey with Christ and what your next steps might be.

The survey will take about 20 minutes to complete and then you will be given a number of recommended next steps such as joining a Community Group or Service Team, taking a class, or reading a certain book. You will come away with clear steps designed to help you intentionally grow in Christ right in the area that you need it the most.
