the service:

We offer a message of hope and love to a world created for more than just living and dying. It’s our hope that the story of our Father’s love and his desire to seek and to save that which was lost would shine through all that we do and say and resonate with the world around us. Our teaching is relational, personal, applicable, biblical, and restorative. It’s a message of healing for wounded souls and a message of freedom for those enslaved by the broken nature of this world.

More than music, our songs of worship are prayers of thanks, awe, need and devotion that prepare our hearts to be changed.  We are a body focused on the purpose behind our forms of our worship.  We refuse to limit the confines of our worship to any particular genre or style or tradition, but rather embrace the value and meaning found in all forms of musical worship - from cutting-edge, modern rock to traditional, more liturgical hymns and styles.

As followers of Jesus Christ, we partake in communion as a physical reminder of His death and sacrifice. The "bread and wine" represent His body and blood that were given for us. As you feel led, you may serve yourself communion at any time during the worship service by going to one of the worship stations throughout the room. However, we do occasionally change the way we serve communion in order to keep it fresh and meaningful and so it never becomes a hollow routine.

If you have a prayer request, a need, or if you would like to pray with someone, members of the prayer team are available behind the curtain at the rear of the auditorium. We are a church committed to prayer, both corporately and individually, and we encourage the sharing of our needs and hurts so that we may bear up one another’s burdens in prayer and in service. You may also write your prayer request on the prayer request card and place it in the offering box at one of the worship stations. Any prayer requests placed in the box are kept confidential, and our staff and prayer team meet weekly to spend time in prayer for these needs.

We give, not out of duty or obligation, but as a way of declaring the sovereignty of our God over every aspect of our lives, and thanking Him for His provision of everything we have. If you are our guest, please do not feel obligated to give.

Throughout the auditorium we have several tables set up with various elements available to enhance our corporate worship experience.  For example, you will find Bibles at the stations that you can borrow just for the service or keep if you don’t have one.

Every week our communion elements are available at the worship stations at any point before, during, or after our services, unless we plan to serve communion differently that day. We generally use grape juice in place of wine.

There are offering boxes at the tables where you can place your tithes and offerings, but we also encourage you to place your connection cards and prayer request cards (found in the worship piece) in the box as well.

Candles are available at the worship stations to light and place on the stage as a visual, outward sign of an inward move of God. It's a way of showing the whole congregation how God is moving in your life and in our midst. The red candles are special in that they signify a praise for you or someone you know having recently accepted Christ.  We would love for the stage to always be filled with the glow of candles representing God’s presence among us.

We do not use traditional church bulletins, but have created a small, artistic handout designed to enhance and add life to our Sunday morning worship experience.  This piece may contain a quote that pertains to the message, a scripture, a corporate reading, or maybe just a creative visual interpretation of something relevant to the day’s theme or focus.  There may also be several inserts contained within the worship piece, such as the connection card, prayer request card, a notes-and-doodles page, and announcement inserts for upcoming events.
