We all arrive to the 8:00am service a little early and hang-out together. Then we all go into the service, sitting together in community. Bi-monthly, we leave during the teaching to have our own lesson, and other times we sit in during the whole service so that we can be in community with the whole church. This helps fulfill our “family of families” mantra. We want students to have an awesome community of fellow middle-schoolers, but we also want them to be plugged into the “big church” as they prepare for what it will be like in adulthood. We believe that this engagement with the whole church is helpful in spurring on lifelong Christ-followers.
These groups occur on Wednesday nights, 7-8:30pm. This gathering is held at the Church campus! The night consists of a time to hang out and games, while also engaging in a relevant bible teaching and discussion. Each small group is specific towards the student’s grade, and is led by 2-3 highly qualified youth leaders.
Generally these events occur monthly and are aimed at creating opportunities for students to have fun, invite friends, embark on adventure, and grow in a healthy community. We also have winter and summer camps that take place at United Christian Youth Camps (UCYC) in Prescott.
